Job Summary and Qualifications Insert Midlines, and Ultrasound Guided PIV's Insertion of PICC's preferred function of role (if competent) Assist Quality and Infection Prevention with reduction in CLABSI rates through monitoring and downgrading appropriate CVCs Troubleshoot obstructed central lines, administer Cathflo when necessary Provide education to staff about safe, appropriate line maintenance and care Demonstrate early and appropriate assessment of patients requiring peripheral access Determine the most appropriate access device for prescribed therapy ordered Other duties as assigned What qualifications you will need: 1 year of experience in IV Therapy and Vascular Access Management required 2-5 years of experience in IV Therapy and Vascular Access Management preferred Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and licensed in the state of Virginia
