Summary

Join a committed team of professionals at Northshire Day School! Northshire Day School is currently hiring a Van Driver through our Family Tree Program to provide transportation to NDS children and families. NDS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Duties

NDS seeks a Van Driver to provides transportation for enrolled children in a safe and timely manner to and from Northshire Day School. Some transportation provided for children and families to and from community events outside of the regularly scheduled van route when appropriate. Will maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety issues to administration. Will keep record of Car Seat expiration dates and ensure each seat is checked routinely before transportation of children. Responsible for maintaining record of pick up/drop off locations as well as release to person(s) as decided by the guardian. 

Requirements

Requirements include a valid driver's license, ability to pass a criminal background check, positive work history and familiarity with the childcare licensing regulations as it applies to the transportation of children.

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver's License, experience transporting children, knowledge of child development ages 0-5

Benefits

This is a 1099 independent contractor position.No benefits.
