SQL Database Administrator job at Saxon Global Columbus, OH, US

Job Description

*Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the central Ohio area.
**This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and will convert to a full-time position within 3-6 months.

Our client is looking for a mid to senior-level SQL DBA to join their technical team, assisting the Senior DBA with all responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

SQL Development
Managing SQL Server database
Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes
Monitoring systems' health and performance
Performance Tuning
Strong mover of data, Data Migration

Qualifications: 5+ years of related professional experience in database administration and development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Proficiency in SQL Ability to understand and evaluate business requirements and translate them into specific database solutions. Ability to use querying and performance monitoring tools to analyze current and future SQL statements, stored procedures, and database design. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Above average collaboration and communication skills. Saxon Global
