Project Coordinator Job Description (HYBRID) Exempt/Full Time Opportunity

Project Coordinator will work a hybrid remote schedule in Huntsville, AL and is responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget, and details of projects are executed accordingly. Job Responsibilities:

  • Expected to work in a local office located in Huntsville, AL, as well as some remote work.
  • Leads assigned projects to achieve its objectives and stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Updates the Project Management Information System to track project status.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation for workflow processes.
  • Coordinates meetings with internal and external or third-party vendors.
  • Assigns tasks to internal teams and assists with schedule management.
  • Manage the projects scope.
  • Identify quality requirements and/or standards for the project and its deliverables.
  • Attempts to identify, evaluate and control the individual and overall project’s risks.
  • Creates reports to track project status through KPI measurements.
  • Communicates with all stakeholders on status, scheduling, timelines, and budgets.
  • Reviews and approves invoices.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities as delegated by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to complete work effectively with little or no direction with attention to details.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written and proficient in English.
  • Proactive problem solver.
  • Ability to organize, manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
  • Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
  • Access to a fast-reliable internet network.
  • Access to a quiet workplace free of background noise and distractions.
  • Windows 10 or 11 Computer with knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Good functioning headset.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate Degree preferred or High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of additional business administration experience may be substituted for Associate’s degree.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen.
  • Regularly requires manual dexterity, visual activity, verbal communication, and auditory skills.
Monday through Thursday in office. Friday work from home. Day shift.
8 hours per day excluding breaks.
