Must be process oriented and detailed.BASIC FUNCTIONS|As an integral member of the Operation's Team, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee our food manufacturing processes. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations on the production floor while ensuring that production meets health, sanitation, and quality standards set by the company and regulatory authorities. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate a team, and a keen understanding of production metrics to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.BENEFITS |PTO: 2 Weeks Vacation401 K: Up to 5% matchHealth/Dental /Vision: BCBS MassLife/AD&D InsuranceMANAGEMENT SCOPE |Management ResponsibilityADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |Manage day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through regular inspections and adherence to SOPs.Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste. Ensures all waste is tracked and monitored for improvement.Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Build, supervise and motivate a team of production workers. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.Ensuring accuracy of daily production numbers for Production report before final submission to upper management.High level planning and organizing for each week s production; including but not limited to raw ingredients and packaging materials.Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Implement strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.Strong adherence to all company policies, procedures, and initiatives.Prepare regular reports on production metrics, including output, downtime, and quality metrics. Present findings to senior management.Will demonstrate, promote, and exemplify the Company s Core Values in People, Quality and Growth. Promoting a positive work environment for all employees.Employee training and enforcement of GMP s and adhering to all SOP sInvolvement in learning all operations of machinery and tools in the facility.Collaboration with all departments within the facility to achieve overall company goals.SUCCESSFUL FACTORS|Leadership experience in a food processing operation USDA footprint or high-volume Restaurant Kitchen.Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial setting with founder and members of the Executive Leadership TeamSolid organizational, leadership, verbal, and written communication skillsMust be detailed oriented, organized and ability effectively lead while managing multiple demands. Cultivate and promote a positive environment and have solid interpersonal skills.Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachMinimum of 3-5 years of in a food processing or restaurant kitchen environmentHigh School Diploma or equivalentSpanish speaking a plus, but not required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
