SUMMARY OF POSITION: Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing Interventional Radiology team in Hershey, PA. The Physician Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians in the medical care and management of patients performing such functions as:
- Preprocedural assessment and management
- Providing informed consent
- Assisting and performing image guided procedures
- Post procedural management and care
- Management of outpatients under long-term care
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): - Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): - Relevant experience preferred.
