Job Summary:
The Patient Care Advocate serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a pivotal role in ensuring a positive experience. This administrative position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to manage patient inquiries, scheduling, and other essential front-desk responsibilities. You will provide empathetic, professional, and efficient support to patients while maintaining accuracy in administrative tasks and contributing to a seamless patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Support:
    • Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, and online portals.
    • Provide information about services, appointments, and administrative processes.
    • Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling.
    • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care transitions.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain and update patient records in EHR systems.
    • Process new patient intake forms and documentation.
    • Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
    • Order Supplements according to treatment plans and refills.
    • Assists with office maintenance as needed.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between patients and clinical staff.
    • Support administrative projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Required Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare administration.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in a healthcare or integrative medicine setting.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online communication tools.
    • Ability to quickly learn new software systems and processes.

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time position / Hourly-paid
  • Flexible working hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CST (1h lunch time included) (with some flexibility based on patient needs).
  • Occasional on-call or weekend requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience. $15/h
