As the\nMRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging\nprocedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an\nin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,\npharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high\ndegree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You\nwill also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly\nscreen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.\nYou will:

• · \nEnsure accurate processing of\nradiology orders
• · \nMaintain accurate up-to-date records\nof procedures performed
• · \nOperate a variety of\npost-processing/3D workstations
• · \nPerform accurate image archival
• · \nPrepare and administer paramagnetic\ncontrast media
• · \nSensitively handle physical and\nemotional needs of the patient

Salary\nRange: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

Qualifications

• Licenses
• ARRT,\nCRT – required. MR certificate required

OR

• ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) – required
• Venipuncture\ncertificate – required
• BCLS\nfrom American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
• Graduate\nfrom a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program – required
• AA or BS – preferred
• At least 1 year of MRI experience –\npreferred
• Siemens\nexperience – preferred
• Ability\nto adapt to advancements and changing technologies
• Ability\nto identify contraindications for exams
• Excellent\ncommunication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills
• Familiarity\nwith clinical billing (IDX codes)
• Knowledge\nof human anatomy and pathology
• Strong\nattention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
