Description

Line Dance Instructor

The line dance instructor is responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial workout for all participants. The instructor must choreograph and teach routines appropriate for beginner and intermediate/advanced skill levels related to line dancing and provide modifications when needed. The last requirement for a successful line dance instructor includes an individual that is encouraging, enthusiastic, and fun. This position is part-time and subject to change based on availability.

Salary : $24/hr

Every Friday from 9-10am at Hyland Hills Sports Center (4201 W. 94th Avenue, Westminster CO 80031)

Job Requirements/Responsibilities
  1. Teaching methods and skills appropriate for line dance age group in class.
  2. Studies and practices multiple dance styles
  3. Selects music
  4. Creates lesson plans
  5. Evaluates participants and gives feedback
  6. Stays up to date with the latest music trends/line dance routines
  7. Physical strength and endurance
  8. Great leadership skills
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Artistic and creative
  11. Patient
  12. Passion for music and dancing
Additional Information
  1. High School Diploma and preferred 3 years teaching experience in dance.
  2. Dance instructor certification preferred
  3. CPR/First Aid required.
