Six Mile, LLC is seeking a part-time Janitor-Sub to join our team. This position keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition, performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. Must be available nights and weekends as needed.

Rate of Pay: $16.02 - $16.42. Eligible for pay increase to $20.02 or $20.52 after successful 90 day probationary period.

Type of position: Part-time, Hourly, Non-exempt

Work Hours: Depends on site needs

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: Rock Island, IL

**Primary Duties include:**

* Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them

* Gather and empty trash

* Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees

* Service, clean, and supply restrooms

* Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment

* Clean and polish furniture and fixtures

* Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications:**

* High School diploma or GED

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

* Must have the ability to carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds

* Ability to push, pull, stoop, bend or stand for long periods of time

* Prior janitorial experience preferred
