A bit about us: A heavy Civil Construction firm with a focus in large concrete structures like bridges, railways and foundations is growing their team! We are looking for an experienced Superintendent with a background in bridges or railways for this permanent position.
The ideal candidate is someone who is a foreman or has overseen civil projects and/or is looking to move into a supervisory role. This is a perfect position for someone looking for more work life balance, as there is very minimal travel and a 40-45 hour work week. They would also pay relocation for the right candidate!
Project sizes range from $3-$15M. And this is a hands on position for someone who wants to work with the crew driving pile setting forms and to push a 6 man crew.
There is an amazing bonus structure, as well as company truck, gas card, phone, laptop, union benefits etc. The base salary for this role is $125,000, plus a 30% bonus.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bridge Superintendent to join our rapidly growing company. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have a solid background in civil construction, specifically bridge construction, and railway projects. Responsibilities:
As a Bridge Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bridge construction and railway projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Supervising and directing all construction activities related to bridge and railway projects (5-10 crew members)
2. Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with engineer-approved plans and specifications.
3. Coordinating and managing all onsite personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean job site.
5. Operating large power tools (pneumatic, electric, hydraulic) as needed.
6. Overseeing pile driving operations and ensuring quality control.
7. Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and team members.
8. Resolving any onsite issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
9. Preparing and submitting project reports and updates to senior management.
10. Lead daily safety meetings and briefings
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Bridge Superintendent position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably in bridge construction and railway projects.
2. Proven experience in pile driving operations.
3. Ability to gain Erailsafe clearance.
4. Experience reading and interpreting engineer-approved plans and specifications.
5. Proficiency in operating large power tools (pneumatic, electric, hydraulic).
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. A commitment to safety and quality.
