Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality checks, including raw material inspection, in-process testing, and finished product evaluations. Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and troubleshoot any deviations.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMPs, and internal company protocols. Participate in external and internal audits, ensuring the plant is always audit-ready.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate documentation of QC activities, including testing results, corrective actions, and non-conformance reports. Report findings to senior management and suggest improvements.
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve food safety and product quality. Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure all quality control processes are conducted following stringent hygiene and sanitation standards. Enforce proper use of safety equipment and protocols to minimize risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMPs, USDA, FDA).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with quality control software and tools is a plus.
