Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester to perform manual and automated testing, ensuring data validation, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes are accurate and efficient. The role requires working closely with data engineering teams to validate data pipelines and implement sustainable testing strategies. Candidates with strong experience in insurance domain testing and proficiency in tools like Informatica, Python, and SQL-based databases will excel in this position. Key Responsibilities:•Validate data sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) testing•Conduct testing of data ingestion pipelines and transformation logic•Automate test scenarios across different platforms and technologies•Manage test cases, issues, and defect tracking throughout the development lifecycle•Test systems for data capture, verification, and metadata maintenance•Utilize automated testing tools and ensure compliance with information governance standards•Integrate testing practices with tools like GitLab and follow Agile methodologies for cloud deployments•Collaborate with data engineering teams for consistent testing approachesRequired Qualifications:•5+ years of experience in ETL testing with a focus on insurance domain data•Mainframe experience for data extraction and DB2 data comparisons•Proficiency in Python for data automation testing•Experience with database systems such as DB2, Aurora SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and Snowflake•Proficient in Power BI, SSRS, and SSIS for report testing•Familiarity with AWS Cloud services, specifically S3, and messaging systems like SNS/SQS/Kafka•Experience with Informatica for ETL processing and testingPreferred Skills:•Knowledge in API and microservices testing, specifically RestAssured•Experience with BI and data visualization testing tools•Cloud migration and platform modernization testing experience•Proficiency in tools like Tosca Data Integrity (DI) for data validationCertifications:•AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty•ISTQB Advanced Test Automation EngineerEducation: Bachelors Degree JobRialto
