GMB is seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our busy team. If you have a strong aptitude in accounting, positive attitude, and willingness to learn, this position offers an excellent growth opportunity for an entry-level professional.

Duties

• Record and process invoices from consultants and vendors
• Record cash receipts, cash disbursements, and reimbursable expenses
• Process client invoices, statements, retainers, and refunds, and assist with collection of outstanding receivables as requested
• Prepare Gross Receipts and Use Tax reports
• Manage and reconcile petty cash
• Reconcile credit cards, attach receipts, resolve discrepancies, and process payment
• Respond to client and vendor inquiries
• Maintain vendor database, manage TIN files, process Form W-9 requests
• Verify and reconcile errors to maintain accurate accounting records and data integrity
• Assist with analysis of general ledger accounts, preparation of routine financial reports, and other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, or combined education and experience
• Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, One Drive, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with Deltek Vision ERP software, municipal service contracts, and the A/E industry is a plus

GMB offers a collaborative team culture, competitive salary, comprehensive insurance benefits, and 401(k) with annual Profit Sharing. Position is based in Salisbury, MD. Some travel may be required. Annual Salary Range, based on education and experience, is $45,000 - $60,000.
