SUMMARY: This position performs entire system assembly and sub-assembly for CT equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Mechanical and electrical cabling system installation and troubleshooting
• System test and verification of the equipment from start to finish
• Assemble and test various sub-assemblies
• Record test results
• Write NMRs for non-functional assemblies
• System troubleshoot to the component level
• Work independently and in team environment, both intra and interdepartmentally
• Have a very high level of product knowledge
• Attend and complete all required training and certification exams
• Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices

Education & experience

• Associates Degrees in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or related discipline preferred
• Technical training and 5 years of experience with medical or complex capital equipment preferred
• Knowledge and ability to work with various hand and power tools
• Knowledge and ability to read schematics and the use of DVMs
• Knowledge and ability to interpret BOMS and assembly drawings
• Knowledge and ability to work with measuring and test equipment such as venires, torque gauges, power supplies, scopes, multi-meters and more
• Experience with mechanical devices, tools and test equipment, telecommunications systems, and working knowledge of computer networking
