THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE, BASED IN OUR COLUMBUS OHIO HEADQUARTERS

To effectively support us in meeting those demands, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Director to lead recruitment efforts from our Columbus, OH headquarters.

The primary focus of this leadership role is owning the talent acquisition processes, goals, and accomplishments for our high-performance teams, including Inside Sales (Call Center), Canvass, Field Marketing, and Outside Sales.

This critical people-focused position will concentrate on continuously filling and top-grading high- performance-based roles, including outside sales, inside sales, canvassing, and field marketing, as well as ensuring the talent acquisition needs of the entire organization are met.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of proven leadership experience in talent acquisition, with a strong preference for those with a background in home improvement, home services, or similar B2C services industries. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of keeping pace with our aggressive growth trajectory while maintaining an infectiously positive and growth-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Leadership & Team Management :
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team to achieve hiring goals and maintain a high standard of candidate experience.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's growth and performance objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the talent acquisition team.
Companywide Recruiting Needs :
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team and Human Resources to understand, forecast, and meet recruiting needs.
  • Design, build, and execute disciplined, scalable talent processes and programs that can support current and future business growth and organizational changes.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on recruitment activities and market trends.
  • Ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with the company’s overall business strategy.
  • Make strategic recommendations to the leadership team on how to best staff each dept.
  • Manage all costs and budgets related to talent acquisition.
Effective Recruiting Strategies :
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the organization, with a heavy focus on key performance-based roles including outside sales, inside sales, canvassing, and field marketing.
  • Utilize both tried-and-true and new and innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Write compelling job advertisements that generate the needed quality and quantity of desired candidates.
  • Ensure a rigorous selection process, including resume screening, conducting interviews, and coordinating assessments to identify top performers.
  • Always focused on creating a positive candidate experience.
Employer Branding & Reputation Management :
  • Develop and manage initiatives to enhance the company’s employer brand and reputation in the market.
  • Execute strategies to attract top talent and create a positive candidate experience.
  • Leverage social media, marketing campaigns, and employee referral programs to boost the company's visibility as an employer of choice.
  • Take a lead role in developing a “referral” culture within the organization.
ATS Management:
  • Select, manage, and leverage the optimal ATS platform to meet our growing needs.
  • Ensure candidate engagement and drip marketing (email, SMS) campaigns are aligned to move targeted candidates through the funnel.
  • Develop best practices for job requisition and workflow management, with an eye toward continuous improvement.
Forecasting, Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track, analyze, and report on key staffing and recruiting KPIs, including candidate experience, hiring manager satisfaction, recruiter performance, pipeline metrics, new hire retention, and other core metrics.
  • Use data as a driving force for change and improvement.
  • Ensure the recruiting team updates information daily.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, particularly in recruiting for commission-based sales and marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of recruiting excellence in the home improvement or home services industries is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing a top-performing recruitment team.

  • Strong technical acumen, with a keen interest in how to leverage software, AI, and platforms to drive the most effective recruiting program
