We are seeking experienced Dance Instructors to join our team in school-based settings, Monday through Friday. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade, fostering their creativity, physical expression, and love for dance. The schedule varies based on school placement. This position requires excellent communication skills as well as creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and develop their dance abilities. Responsibilities

•Plan and conduct dance classes that cater to students from Pre-K to 12th grade.
•Teach a variety of dance styles, techniques, and choreographies appropriate for different age groups and skill levels.
•Create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and develop their dance abilities.
•Coordinate with school staff to integrate dance lessons into the academic curriculum and school events.
•Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
•Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize performances, recitals, and showcases throughout the school year.
•Maintain a safe and organized dance studio environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

•3 Years of age-appropriate classroom teaching experience in applicable content areas.
•Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in the content area preferred, MD Teaching.
•Certification, or at least 30 completed college credits.
•Proven experience as a Dance Instructor, preferably in educational or youth settings.
•Strong knowledge of various dance forms such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, etc.
•Ability to engage and inspire students across different age groups, from elementary to high school.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school personnel.
•Certification in dance instruction or related fields is a plus.
•Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching dance to young learners.
