Accounting Specialist - Part Time!

About the Company and Opportunity: Accounting Specialist - Part Time!

  • Our client is a real estate developer in NW Portland looking to add an Accounting Specialist to their team on a part-time basis.
  • This role reports to the CFO of the company - he is a very strong leader/mentor and has developed many careers.
  • Great company to work for with a well-rounded and engaging team
  • They enjoy getting together often for team building and comradery

Overview of the role: Accounting Specialist - Part Time!

  • Solid understanding of debits and credits
  • Processing all accounts payable transactions for various projects
  • Handling credit card transactions, employee reimbursements, intercompany billbacks, and journal entries
  • Managing all banking reconciliations as well as balance sheet reconciliations
  • Financial reporting - producing trial balances and GL details
  • Ad hoc/special projects as directed by the CFO

Preferred Qualifications: Accounting Specialist - Part Time!

  • Experience working with Sage 300 is a must!
  • Prior roles in property management or construction are a plus!
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • Ability to keep your head down and follow through on projects
  • Good sense of humor!
