Job Description

I am currently working with a top tier insurance law firm , who are actively looking to hire a coverage associate to join their growing Chicago office.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will work with the firm's nationally recognized partners on complex insurance and reinsurance coverage issues.
• Prepare insurance coverage opinion letters, draft pleadings, draft discovery requests and discovery responses.
• Assist in all aspects of dispositive motions practice and trials.
• You will handle a broad range of disputes across the United States including social media and opioid coverage cases.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
• 2+ years of experience as an insurance coverage attorney.
