The Child and Family Guidance Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive, integrated mental health services to our patients in Dallas, Ellis, and Navarro Counties.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive mental health care, including diagnosing and treating mental health and emotional disorders
• Maintain detailed patient records and prepare cases for Medical Director review
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for continuity of care
• Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal laws, as well as CFGC policies and HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients and families about mental health and attend all required training and meetings

What you bring

 

• Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Passion for serving families of all backgrounds
• Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Must possess a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance for local travel (up to 65%)
