About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their dynamic, award-winning institution. The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment and will be responsible for assisting high school students in defining and achieving their career and educational goals. This includes developing and implementing programs that provide support and guidance, meeting one-on-one with students and families, and collaborating with school and college personnel to facilitate career exploration, internships, and other employment preparation activities. The role also involves maintaining and distributing information on career fields and employment opportunities, as well as preparing reports to evaluate program success and enhance its structure. Applicants for the Career Coach position at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a minimum of two years of experience in secondary and/or post-secondary education. Experience in the community college sector, using career exploration tools, interpreting labor market information, and proficiency in a foreign language are also desirable. The role requires excellent communication, critical thinking, and judgment skills, as well as the ability to engage in a variety of activities to support students' transition from high school to post-secondary opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, collaborative individual who is committed to the mission, values, and vision of the institution.
