We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated manufacturing team, handling a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer billing, credit, and collections.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable including billing, credit, and collections.
2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and payments.
3. Maintain up-to-date customer records in our ERP system.
4. Handle customer inquiries related to billing and payments, providing excellent customer service at all times.
5. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure accurate order entry.
6. Assist in the monthly close process, including preparing reports and reconciliations related to accounts receivable.
7. Adhere to and promote compliance with company policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
8. Support the finance team with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with customer service, accounts receivable, ERP systems, GMP, and order entry.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
